Female Marine Is Killed in Iraq Combat

Marine Lance Cpl. Juana Navarro Arellano, 24, was killed last week in Iraq, the third female Marine killed there, officials announced Tuesday.
She was a native of Ceres, near Modesto.
Arellano died from wounds suffered during combat operations in Al Anbar province.
