Other dark days for the Baltics
IT is nice to learn from writer Beverly Beyette [“Baltics’ Stalwart Beauty,” April 9] that “the Baltics don’t want the suffering and losses of the dark days to be forgotten.”
She neglected to mention that the Baltics could not restrain their enthusiasm and support for the Nazi extermination of their Jewish neighbors. Recognition of their complicity has been largely ignored.
