Ann the Raven’s Devoted Fans

On a late Saturday night in 1987, I found the company of Ann the Raven on KPCC-FM (89.3) while driving home from a concert (“The Blue Raven,” by Andy Meisler, July 23). With me was a friend from Germany, and we became instant fans. The next week we taped her show, and he took it back to Germany to recruit more fans. When Ann asked for donations during the next pledge drive, I felt it was time to contribute.
Ann deserves to earn a living for pouring her heart out to the world. Hopefully this article will produce more than memories and will land her a paying gig. Here’s to you, Ann!
