Online Calendar Service Is Sold in EBay Auction
From Bloomberg News
Kiko, an online calendar service, was sold for $258,100 on EBay after the site’s founders decided to give up trying to compete with a rival product from Google Inc.
Kiko introduced its free online calendar in August 2005, co-founder Justin Kan said. He said he would probably walk away with about $80,000 before taxes, in addition to his pay from Kiko.
Kan, 23, said he had spoken to the winning bidder, whose identity may be revealed in the next two weeks.
