Probation Officer Held in Sexual Assault Case

A San Bernardino County probation officer has been arrested on suspicion of sexual battery and assault under the color of authority for an alleged incident with a woman whose probation case the officer handled.
Vincent Cason, 44, is jailed at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, and the district attorney is expected to determine counts against him by today. A Riverside police spokesman said Cason was also being investigated on suspicion of sexually assaulting the same woman in that city.
