7 Die as Building Fails With 280 Inside

A five-story building collapsed in central Nairobi with more than 280 construction workers inside, killing at least seven people and injuring more than 70.
As rescuers dug into the rubble with their bare hands, a survivor said he and other workers had been trying to stabilize the structure after an inspector warned that it was unsafe.
