Lawyer Starts New Firm After Ex-Boss Indicted

Louis “Skip” Miller has started a Century City law firm two months after leaving what is now known as Christensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro in the wake of partner Terry Christensen’s indictment in the Anthony Pellicano federal wiretap scandal.
Mark A. Barondess and Daniel E. Park will join Miller as founding partners in the new firm, Miller Barondess.
Christensen has denied allegations that he paid at least $100,000 to private investigator Pellicano to tap the phones of Lisa Bonder Kerkorian, the ex-wife of billionaire Kirk Kerkorian.
When Miller parted ways with Christensen, sources said it was largely because of the Pellicano indictment. The firm denied that, attributing his departure to long-simmering differences.
