102 Dublin Priests Suspected of Abuse
From Times Wire Reports
The Roman Catholic Church made its biggest admission yet: 102 of its Dublin priests, past and present, are suspected of abusing children.
The disclosure comes a week before the Irish government launches an inquiry into how church and state authorities conspired to cover up decades of child abuse within the archdiocese, home to more than 1 million Catholics.
Church officials have been reviewing personnel records of more than 2,800 priests, dating to 1940.
