From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Police identified a man shot by officers after a pursuit Monday as Henry Washington, 42.
Officer Paul Sandate, 30, and Det. Donald Walthers, 46, were trying to take Washington into custody on suspicion of drug dealing when he wrested a gun from one of them, police said.
Officers Luis Bonilla and Orlando Diaz, both 29, arrived while Washington was still fighting the two officers. Seeing that he was armed, Bonilla and Diaz fired, killing Washington.
