FedEx to increase rates 3.5% on average

FedEx Express, owner of the world’s largest cargo airline, will increase net average shipping rates by 3.5% at the beginning of the year.
The change will apply to U.S. domestic and export express package and freight shipments.
FedEx Express, based in Memphis, Tenn., said it also expected to announce rate increases for FedEx Ground service shipments next year.
