NBC Universal to offer movies, shows on website
NBC Universal, a unit of General Electric Co., will make some movies and television shows available on demand at Interactive Television Networks Inc.’s ITVN website.
About 130 movies including “Miami Vice,” “American Pie” and “Meet the Parents” and shows such as “Jerry Springer” and “Blind Date” will be available for purchase on ITVN, a spokeswoman said. The NBC shows and movies will be offered beginning in December at prices from $1.95 to $3.95 and can be viewed for 24 hours, Irvine-based ITVN said.
