Korean film industry is too foreign a topic
Regarding “Coming attractions,” about the South Korean film industry, Nov. 5:
I have been reading The Times for more than 40 years, since I was in junior high school. As time goes on it becomes more and more obvious to me why there are fewer readers of your paper.
This article, though informative, is of interest only to people who are in the industry. Give your readers something of more local interest -- something about the United States, California or Los Angeles.
This type of story is not what people are looking to read on a Sunday morning. Please give us something we can use in our daily lives.

I read with interest the article in Business regarding the decline in circulation suffered by newspapers in general and The Times in particular (“Newspaper circulation continues to decline,” Oct. 31).
I then looked at the first section of The Times and saw on the front page the story about people in the Philippines who are living in a cemetery and another story about the excellent adventure of David and Chad “creating” a child.
I see a connection. I wonder if the editors of The Times do.
