Two stabbed, one fatally; couple sought
From a Times Staff Writer
One man was killed and another critically wounded in a stabbing Friday night in South Los Angeles, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 7 p.m. near Figueroa Street and Slauson Avenue, according to Los Angeles police.
The victims, both in their 20s, apparently “made some kind of comments toward” a woman on the street, and her male companion stabbed them, Sgt. Julie McInnis said.
Police were searching for the couple, who fled on foot. No description of them was immediately available.
