“I’D like to recommend a quaint hotel a block from the beach in a delightful section of Rosarito. The Hotel Colonial is comfortable, with ocean views from the second-story rooms. The very affordable rooms have two king beds and look out on a nice courtyard. The owners, Luis and Angelica, operate the hotel and are very gracious.
“The nearby restaurant La Estancia offers exquisite steak and seafood, with a romantic setting and superb ambience.”
