MTV to launch more than 20 websites
From Bloomberg News
Viacom Inc.’s MTV Networks said it would introduce more than 20 websites next year in an effort to attract younger viewers on the Internet.
The sites will focus on subjects including music, celebrities, personal growth and spirituality, New York-based Viacom said. They will debut in the first half of 2007.
The move is part of an effort by Chief Executive Philippe Dauman to build Internet businesses since he took over for Tom Freston in September.
