2 youths gunned down; 1 later dies at hospital

A youth was killed and a second wounded in a shooting Monday evening in Pacoima, police said.
Three males walked up to and shot the victims -- one in the chest, the other in a leg -- at Glenoaks Boulevard and Pierce Street about 7:15 p.m., said Officer Martha Garcia, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim who was wounded in the chest later died at a hospital, Garcia said. The other victim was expected to recover.
The investigation is continuing, Garcia said.
