Suicide attacks kill at least 12
A suicide attacker ran onto a police training ground and blew himself up, killing 10 policemen and wounding 10 others today in northern Afghanistan, a security official said.
The blast occurred in the relatively quiet city of Kunduz, said Abdul Hadi, a security official.
The attack came a day after a suicide bomber targeted a U.S. security firm in southern Afghanistan, killing as many as four Afghan employees and wounding a fifth, officials said.
The company said two employees died after a man on a motorcycle blew himself up near one of its convoys. But authorities reported four Afghan deaths.
