• St. Louis 6, at Pittsburgh 4: Two blunders by catcher Ronny Paulino in the same at-bat helped the Cardinals score the go-ahead run in the sixth inning on the way to winning their fourth game in a row.
• Colorado 6, at Florida 3: Aaron Cook (8-6) gave up five hits in 7 2/3 innings to win his third consecutive start and the Rockies (54-51) matched the franchise’s second-best record after 105 games.
• at Milwaukee 4, New York 2: Geoff Jenkins hit a two-run homer against Aaron Sele in the 13th inning, long after the Mets bullpen had blown a one-run lead and Tom Glavine’s chance at his 300th victory.
• San Francisco 3, at Dodgers 1: Noah Lowry (12-7) gave up one run and five hits in 5 2/3 innings and won for the sixth time in seven starts.
