Don’t forget rockabilly town!

I liked Robert Hilburn’s article [“A Southern Sound Check,” July 22], but there was no mention of Jackson, Tenn., home of the late Carl Perkins of “Blue Suede Shoes” fame. His restaurant of that name is filled with tons of great rock memorabilia, and the International Rock-a-Billy Hall of Fame is in Jackson. Its annual rockabilly music festival is Aug. 9 to 11 ( www.rockabillyhall.org).
