Stars dig in their feet for ‘Ocean’s’ premiere

GEORGE CLOONEY, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon -- need we say more?

Hours before the red carpet waltz got underway for the premiere of “Ocean’s 13,” the movie’s stars immortalized their hand and shoe prints in cement outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Tuesday.

The three amigos and the film’s producer, Jerry Weintraub, posed for about 100 photographers and smiled and waved to several hundred onlookers, a number that was sure to swell by day’s end. Nonetheless, the event -- attended by local dignitaries and involving plaques and many posed photographs -- had more of the feel of a small-town memorial than the planetary aligning of three of Hollywood’s biggest bold-faced names.

“I know you’re all here for me and not these three guys,” joked Weintraub, before joining Pitt, Clooney and Damon in the muck. When Damon got ahold of the mike, he quipped: “I’d just like to say this isn’t the first time somebody tried to put Jerry Weintraub’s feet in cement.”
