After bringing the recent Grammy telecast to its knees with her torching of “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” during the program’s James Brown tribute, Christina Aguilera should carry no shortage of confidence as she rolls into the second week of her North American “Back to Basics” tour. And unlike many stars at the center of contemporary mainstream concert productions, the erstwhile teen star has a voice that can actually compete with the razzle-dazzle.
Christina Aguilera, with Danity Kane and the Pussycat Dolls, Honda Center, 2695 E. Katella Ave., Anaheim. 7:30 p.m. Monday. $52 to $93. (714) 704-2500.
* Also 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Staples Center, 1111 S. Figueroa St., L.A. $55 to $95. (213) 742-7340.
