A student and a friend were wounded by a gunman Tuesday after meeting their attacker near Wilson High School for a prearranged fight, police said.
Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez said the two were shot about 3:30 p.m. at Multnomah and Soto streets by a person they had arranged to meet for a fistfight. But when they arrived, the gunman shot one victim in the shoulder and the other in the foot, Lopez said.
They fled to Wilson High for help and were taken to hospitals. Authorities are searching for the shooter.
