Couple die in head-on crash with DUI suspect
A husband and wife were killed early Sunday when a suspected drunk driver swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into their pickup truck, Los Angeles police said.
Adrian Bravo Diaz, 26, was driving at a high speed when his Ford Mustang collided with the couple’s Toyota Tacoma about 1 a.m. on Los Feliz Boulevard near Riverside Drive, police said.
Walter Fernandez, 48, and his wife, Silvia, 42, died as a result of the crash, police said. Diaz, who was treated for a broken arm and leg, was held on suspicion of two counts of vehicular manslaughter.
