Delta to add flights at LAX
Delta Air Lines is expected to announce today that it will add 21 daily flights to nine cities at Los Angeles International Airport as it continues to expand its presence in Southern California.
With the new flights, Delta will have 100 departures a day to 48 nonstop destinations, or double the number of flights it had at the same time last year when the airline was undergoing Bankruptcy Court reorganization. The new direct flights to such cities as Denver and Phoenix will be operated by ExpressJet Airlines, Delta’s connection carrier.
