Teamwork is sought for anti-gang plan

In an effort to curtail gang violence, county supervisors unanimously directed the county’s chief administrator to work with local governments and law enforcement agencies to develop a regional anti-gang plan.
Chief Administrator David Janssen will integrate findings from city and Sheriff’s Department reports on fighting gangs. Janssen is scheduled to present the countywide gang initiative to the board within four months.
