Lions Gate raises $400-million fund

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. raised a $400-million fund with Pride Pictures to finance a slate of 23 movies including “Bug,” which was released last weekend.
Pride and Lions Gate jointly own the fund, which is backing forthcoming releases such as teen comedy “Good Luck Chuck” and “3:10 to Yuma,” starring Russell Crowe, Vancouver, Canada-based Lions Gate said in a regulatory filing.
