Tradition lives
Re “Courage in the face of danger -- and bankruptcy,” Column, Dec. 14
Thanks for James Rainey’s beautiful column on the heroism of Times reporters.
I am 75 and have been reading this paper all my life. The demise of the print edition would be a real loss to all of us who read the paper at the breakfast table. Though I am computer semi-literate, it is hard for me to look at the screen long enough to read an entire newspaper. Also, I could not carry my desktop with me to finish reading while I wait for my ballet class to start. I need print for practical purposes.
I salute Times reporters for their courage and dedication to a great tradition.
