AT DETROIT
Time: 4 PST.
On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 1150.
Where: Joe Louis Arena.
Records: Kings 13-13-6, Red Wings 21-6-4.
Record vs. Red Wings: 0-1-1.
Update: Shut out Friday in Buffalo -- the fifth time they’ve been blanked this season -- the Kings finish a back-to-back sequence today in Detroit. They’re 1-5-4 in their last 10 games there, the lone victory being a 6-2 decision last Feb. 7. The Red Wings shut out the league-leading Sharks on Thursday in what was supposed to be a “statement” game. If it said anything, it’s that the defending champions won’t relinquish their title easily. Goalie Chris Osgood has been idled by a sore groin muscle, so Ty Conklin had the shutout Thursday.
