Three from Ducks rank in voting

Three Ducks are in position to start for the West in the NHL All-Star game, to be played Jan. 25 in Montreal. Voting ends Friday.

As of Tuesday night, Jean-Sebastien Giguere had surged more than 82,000 votes ahead of Vancouver’s Roberto Luongo to lead all goaltenders. Defenseman Scott Niedermayer was second to Chicago’s Brian Campbell and Chris Pronger was third, about 10,000 votes behind Niedermayer.

Center Ryan Getzlaf ranked third among forwards behind Chicago’s Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews but more than 200,000 ahead of fourth-ranked Marian Hossa of Detroit.
