You should definitely talk about: The Fug Girls. The Go Fug Yourself blog created by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan in 2004 relies on a deceptively simple formula: Post pictures of celebrities in bad clothes and make fun of them. You’d think it would get old, but the writing is so good it consistently makes us LOL all over our keyboard and wish we had come up with the jokes ourselves. This week they release their first book, “Go Fug Yourself: The Fug Awards.” We’re going to buy a copy and try to learn a thing or two. (Tuesday)

You’ll probably talk about: “Lipstick Jungle.” Like everyone else following the winter television season, we’re interested in seeing how this show, inspired by Candace Bushnell’s book of the same name, compares to “The Cashmere Mafia,” which seems to be about the same subject -- the fabulous struggles of powerful career women. We squealed when we got the screener in the mail but somehow still haven’t managed to watch it. That says something, right? (Tuesday)

You could talk about: “Perfect Strangers.” The first and second seasons of this ‘80s classic are released on DVD this week, and while we doubt you plan to go out to purchase them, we will take this opportunity to briefly reminisce about what happens when you put a sheepherder named Balki Bartokomous in the same Chicago apartment as a neurotic city dweller like Larry Appleton: pure comic magic. We’re undecided if you should talk about: “Welcome to the Captain.” This is a new show on CBS about a Hollywood apartment building with a bunch of wacky residents. We like the blurb about it because one of the characters is a former “Three’s Company” writer (our favorite show!), and Chris Klein is in it. We don’t want to live in the past, but the truth is, we always thought Klein and Katie Holmes made a great couple. (Monday)
