Wanted: Stylish gear for the disabled
Why was this otherwise good article [“Hey, Great-Looking Grab Bar!” Jan. 24] strictly geared toward seniors? Younger people with disabilities don’t want stylish equipment?
I may be a baby boomer, but I’ve been disabled most of my life. It has always aggravated me that I had no choices in my equipment/daily aids. Everything was geared toward the institutional.
Thanks for the info on Gold Violin and Elderluxe, though.
