Dell CEO takes 48% pay cut

Dell Inc. Chief Executive Michael Dell earned $2.33 million in fiscal 2008 compensation, 48% less than in 2007.
His salary remained $950,000, the Round Rock, Texas-based company said in a regulatory filing. He was awarded options valued at $338,207, compared with $2.49 million in 2007.
