Divers fight off Komodo dragon
From Times Wire Reports
Scuba divers swept 20 miles by currents survived 12 hours in shark-infested waters and then scrambled onto a remote Indonesian island -- where they fought off a Komodo dragon, a port official said.
The divers, three from Britain and one each from France and Sweden, pelted the giant, carnivorous lizard on Rinca island with rocks and pieces of wood, a port official said. Searchers found the divers the day after their encounter with the dragon.
