Re “Governor signs texting while driving ban,” Sept. 25
If the purpose of the texting ban is to promote driver safety, then why is the first fine of $20 less than any parking ticket I’ve ever received? How many more deaths will it take to increase the fine to at least that of an expired parking meter and give some incentive to obey the law?
