“American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi married her beau, contractor Mike McCuddy. DioGuardi’s publicist, Danica Smith, says the couple tied the knot on Sunday in Prospect Harbor, Maine, in front of 30 witnesses.
The 38-year-old songwriter joined the judges’ panel on “American Idol,” adding new blood to the Fox singing contest’s regular three-judge format. Meanwhile, Paula Abdul said Monday that she has been invited to remain as an “American Idol” judge.
“I’ve been invited to stay the duration of the show, however long it lasts,” said Abdul, whose contract expired after the show’s eighth season. She said the invitation to come back is subject to agreement on the details of a new deal.
