DODGERS TONIGHT
AT CHICAGO WHITE SOX
When: 5 PDT.
Where: U.S. Cellular Field.
On the air: TV: Ch. 9; Radio: 790, 930.
Pitchers: Hiroki Kuroda vs. John Danks. Wednesday, 5 p.m. -- Randy Wolf (3-2, 3.29) vs. Gavin Floyd (4-5, 4.65). Thursday, 11 a.m. -- Chad Billingsley (9-3, 2.83) vs. Clayton Richard (2-1, 4.03).
Update: Kuroda is 0-3 in four starts since returning from a side muscle injury that sidelined him for two months. His last two starts were particularly rough, as he was charged with a combined nine runs over 11 2/3 innings. He lasted six innings against Oakland in his most recent outing, but gave up five runs, including two home runs. The Dodgers don’t want to let Danks get in a rhythm. Danks is 4-1 with a 1.79 earned-run average when he pitches six or more innings. He was brilliant in his last start, holding the Cubs to a run and five hits in seven innings. He struck out five and walked none.
