As if Monterey County’s gorgeous scenery, prime vineyards and world-class aquarium weren’t reasons enough to visit, the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau has some serious deals with its “Smile Recovery” promo.
The deals: Here are some of the offers: an overnight stay at Portola Hotel & Spa with two two-day passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for $149 (pre-tax); a family-of-four package featuring two nights’ lodging, aquarium tickets, whale watching, dinner, beach bonfire and breakfast for $967 (including tax) at Monterey Bay Lodge; a second night free at Monterey Hostel; and $100 off rack rates at Anton Inn in Pacific Grove. Deals for attractions include $10 off per person on trail rides at Holman Ranch in Carmel; two-for-one tickets to the Sea Otter Classic festival April 16 to 19; and 25% off Adventures by the Sea kayaking tours. The promotion runs through May 31.
