It seemed like a mere novelty when it premiered on Fox two years ago, but “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” proved so popular that there will be a syndicated version of the game show this fall.
Jeff Foxworthy, who hosts the network show, also will host the syndicated edition, which will air weeknights locally on KTTV-TV Channel 11. The show tests adults on what they remember from their grammar school education.
