NBA ahead: Lakers at Chicago Bulls on Friday

Now, welcoming the twice-defending NBA champion Lakers to our future attractions feature!
In prior seasons, they would have been featured here like about three times by now, but their early season games were eclipsed by you know who.
Not that the Lakers were hard to eclipse, playing only seven of 20 games against teams now in playoff slots: two against the Suns, one against the Jazz, Nuggets, Bulls, Raptors and Pacers.
The Bulls look promising ... on offense.
Since they’re not the Phoenix Suns of old, they’ll have to pick up Coach Tom Thibodeau’s scheme to do anything important.
The Lakers have struggled without Andrew Bynum and Theo Ratliff.
Bynum is hoping to make his long-awaited debut on this trip, but for the Lakers, that goes under We’ll See.
