Palm Springs: Check out new Renaissance hotel, with $100 daily credit
- Share via
Palm Springs is at its best in winter, when the nearby mountains are covered in snow and daytime temperatures stay in comfortable double digits. Now the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel offers a $100 daily credit with rooms starting at $179 a night -- great for a quick overnight getaway.
The deal: This downtown hotel, formerly known as the Wyndham, underwent a big face-lift to reopen as a Renaissance earlier this year. What’s new? A lot, including a redesign of 255 rooms and 155 suites, the Date restaurant (a nod to the local fruit) and the pool-side Rocks bar and lounge.
With the $100 Hotel Credit package, you can apply the daily $100 credit to valet parking, Wi-Fi, dining and more -- a nice perk that gives you a good excuse to explore this redone property. Use the code “P50” when making a reservation.
When: Good through June 30, subject to availability.
Tested: I checked the hotel’s website and found a room for $179 plus tax available on Saturday, Dec. 18. The same room for the same dates cost $159 plus tax per night without the package. So the hotel credit puts you well ahead of the game.
Tip: Rates can go as high as $359 plus tax per night, the hotel’s website says, so choose your dates carefully.
