Ask Laz: Can customers bring dogs into Starbucks and other coffee shops?
Dave says he recently was at a Starbucks in Marina del Rey and saw a customer bring a dog into the shop. “Lately I see more and more people are bringing their dogs to pick up coffee,” he told me. “Does L.A. County or city law allow it?”
I’ve looked at dogs from both sides. That is, I’ve seen people bring pooches into Starbucks, and (cough) I’ve brought my own dog into branches of the chain. No one’s ever said anything.
