Tumblr launches redesigned, vastly improved iOS app
Tumblr has released a newly designed version of its iOS app.
The new app for Apple devices comes with a redesigned dashboard, support for high-resolution images, support for Spotify and also comes with an offline mode.
Tumblr, which has more than 60 million blogs, also lists various other changes to its 3.0 update, among them the fact that the app now runs faster, making it easier for users to upload their posts, according to 9 to 5 Mac.
The app, released Thursday, comes a week after Tumblr Chief Executive David Karp publicly said he was not happy with Tumblr’s previous presence on the iOS realm.
Currently, the app has no ads, but Karp said they will arrive in the future.
The app is available for download in the iTunes store.
