‘Seinfeld’ producer Andrew Scheinman lists Bel-Air spec house for $11.5 million
Veteran television and film producer Andrew Scheinman is looking for his next hit in a different field, listing a spec home in Bel-Air for sale at $11.495 million.
The multilevel contemporary is set on more than a third of an acre in lower Bel-Air with city, mountain and ocean views. The grounds include a swimming pool with a spa, fire pit and pizza oven.
Designed for entertaining, the open floor plan has a sunken living room, a 600-bottle wine cellar and a media room with custom surround sound. Walls of glass open to the grounds and separate garden atriums.
Other features include hickory and limestone floors, a center-island kitchen with marble backsplash, an office and a separate den. Fourteen flat screen televisions and 40 glass-carbon ceiling speakers are within 6,020 square feet of living space.
The master suite, with a wall fireplace and oversized walk-in closet, has sliding glass doors opening to a private terrace. In all, there are five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.
Scheinman bought the property through a limited liability company three years ago for about $2.93 million, records show.

The 68-year-old Scheinman has movie producing credits that include “The Princess Bride” (1987), “When Harry Met Sally” (1989) and a “Few Good Men” (1992). He won a Primetime Emmy as executive producer of “Seinfeld.”
