Actress Annie Potts, who will appear the upcoming reboot of the film comedy “Ghostbusters,” and husband James Hayman have sold their gated home in Tarzana for $3.875 million, or nearly half what the property listed for two years ago — $6.495 million.

The Spanish hacienda-style house, built in 1934 and since restored, sits on nearly 1.5 acres of grounds and has a tennis court and two swimming pools.

Trimmed in green hues and topped by a rustic clay tile roof, the house includes an updated kitchen and family room with a stained glass wall added during Potts and Hayman’s ownership. Formal living and dining rooms, an office, six bedrooms and six bathrooms also lie within a single story.

The master suite has a sitting area, a dressing room and a fireplace. There’s also a detached guesthouse with a separate living room and en suite bedroom.

Outdoors, a veranda wraps the exterior of the home and covers parts of a flagstone patio. An outdoor kitchen and dining area, fireplaces and a tree house with a zipline complete the setting.

The couple bought the property in 2003 from television director and producer Robert Berlinger for $2.5 million, public records show. Film, stage and television actor Robert Wagner is another former resident.

John Galich of Rodeo Realty represented both ends of the transaction.

Potts, 63, has television and film credits that include “Designing Women” (1986-93), two “Ghostbusters films” (1984 and 1989) and the “Toy Story” film franchise. She is among a number of original “Ghostbusters” actors who have a cameo in the upcoming reboot.

Hayman has production and directorial credits that include such television series as “Judging Amy,” “Ugly Betty” and, most recently, “NCIS: New Orleans.”
