Ben Carson lists his palatial home in West Palm Beach
Dr. Ben Carson, yes, the one-time presidential hopeful, has listed his West Palm Beach house for sale at $1.2 million. The golf-club community residence is decked out with columns, marble floors and inlaid ceilings.
The 6,155 square feet of living space includes a formal dining room, a breakfast area, a family room, a media room, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.
There are water and course views. The window coverings are on remote controls.
The multi-level home sits on a third of an acre with a circular drive. There is a three-car attached garage and room to park a golf cart.
The property previously sold in 2013 for $775,000.
The retired 65-year-old surgeon has been picked to head the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He’ll no doubt be picking new digs closer to the office.
Arthur Martens of Engle & Volkers, Palm Beach, is the listing agent.
