TV personality and surgeon Dr. Mest picks up a pied-à-terre in Hollywood
Plastic surgeon Dr. Doug Mest, who has appeared on the medical reality shows “The Swan” and “Bridalplasty,” has bought a condo in Hollywood for $849,000. The seller was Neal Freundlich, producer of such shows as “Extra” and “America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back.”
The southwest-facing corner unit was recently remodeled and features an open floor plan, marble floors and an updated kitchen. Walls of windows and a wrap-around balcony take in city, mountain and ocean views.
A living room, a dining nook, two bedrooms and two bathrooms are within more than 1,200 square feet of living space. Building amenities include guest valet parking, an on-site concierge and access to a swimming pool and penthouse gym.
Two covered parking spots were also included in the sale.
The condo came to market in September and sold for the asking price, records show.
Chuck Keller and Doug Rago of eXp Realty of California were the listing agents. Joe Custer of Keller Williams Hollywood Hills represented the buyer.
Dr. Mest is a former clinical director of South Bay-based Blue Pacific Aesthetic Medical Group. He has also appeared on the Discovery Health series “Plastic Surgery, Before & After” and KTTV’s “Good Morning LA.”
