Former Laker Elden Campbell nets sale in Marina del Rey

Former Los Angeles Lakers forward-center Elden Campbell has sold his condominium residence in Marina del Rey for $770,000.
The 1,929-square-foot floor plan includes a gourmet kitchen, three large closets, two fireplaces and two bedroom suites. Granite countertops, raised ceilings, and slate and wood flooring are among the unit features.
Community amenities include 24-hour security service, a pool and spa, a sauna and a tennis court.
Campbell, 45, spent nearly a decade in a Lakers uniform after he was selected by the team in the first round of the 1990 draft. He played for five teams over the course of 15 seasons, winning one NBA title.
Campbell was asking as much as $804,000 in March. He paid $270,000 for the unit in 1994.
Greta Fosse of Sotheby’s International Realty was the listing agent. Nicole Wagner of Nelson Shelton & Associates represented the buyer in the sale.
