A house owned by the late jazz musician George Duke is for sale in Hollywood Hills at $1.749 million.
The traditional-style two-story features a gabled roof, living and family rooms, a knotty pine bar, an office, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and 3,284 square feet of living space.
The third-of-an-acre yard includes a swimming pool and lawn.
The keyboardist-singer-composer bought the property in 1985 for $375,000.

Duke, who died last year at 67, made about 30 solo albums and collaborated with such musicians as Al Jarreau, Stevie Wonder and Frank Zappa. He was instrumental in fusing jazz with rock, funk and disco elements and won a Grammy in 2000 for producing the Dianne Reeves album “In the Moment – Live in Concert.”
The house, which is already in escrow, has been for lease several times in recent years.
Peter Maurice and Tregg Rustad at Rodeo Realty are the listing agents.
