Record producer, multi-instrumentalist and frequent Kanye West collaborator Mike Dean has found a new beat in Studio City, buying the home of stand-up comic Russell Peters for $2.5 million.

The Mediterranean, built in 2004 and since updated, has a range of eye-catching features across three floors. Of note is a steel wall fireplace in the family room, a theater room with tiered seating and a wet bar with a chrome backsplash. In the kitchen, vibrant tilework plays off white marble countertops to create visual interest.

The master suite, awash in blue pinstripe wallpaper, has a fireplace, a walk-in closet and a sauna. Including a guest house, there is about 5,900 square feet of living space with six bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Outdoors, fencing surrounds a swimming pool and spa. There’s also a motor court and a four-car garage.

Neil Spanier and Scott Walker of Keller Williams Realty were the listing agents. Jonathan Nash of Hilton & Hyland represented the buyer.

Dean, 51, has collaborated with such artists as Scarface, Jay Z, Beyonce and Frank Ocean. He has won multiple Grammys for his work with West.

Peters, 46, is known for his comedy specials, including “Outsourced” and, most recently, “Notorious.” Among his film credits is “Source Code” (2011) and “Chef” (2014). Last year, he voiced the character Rocky the Rhino in “The Jungle Book.”
