Ex-Chargers coach Norv Turner is ready to play ball for Mission Beach condo
Former San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner, now the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings, has put a condominium in the Mission Beach area of San Diego on the market for $1.549 million.
Hugging the sand near Point Medanos, the top-floor residence takes in views of the ocean, beach volleyball courts and the entrance to Mission Bay.
Approximately 1,500 square feet of living space on a single story includes a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area, a family room, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an elevator. Two beach-facing decks allow for outdoor entertaining, as does a rooftop patio.
There’s also a detached two-car garage.
Turner, who owns other property in the Southland, bought the condo four years ago for $1.2 million, property records show.

The 64-year-old Turner, had a 56-40 record as the head coach of the Chargers, finishing atop the AFC West division in his first three seasons. He and general manager A.J. Smith were relieved from their positions in 2013 after the team failed to reach the playoffs from 2010-2012.
He has been the offensive coordinator for the Vikings since 2014.
